Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet dances Ohad Naharin’s Decadance

Ohad Naharin has undertaken a fresh look at his past works, re-arranging them under the moniker Decadance. One imagines, given the constraints of rehearsal time and the varying abilities of dancers to adapt to his approach, his efforts must meet with a certain amount of compromise. New York City’s Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, however, dedicated three immersive months for the dancers to absorb Naharin’s work and style. Continue reading
